What Would You Do With $3 Million Dollars
The Secret Service would pay the Trump Organization to lease the space.
The Secret Service is required to protect the first family wherever they go. When President Obama or Vice President Biden have gone on vacation, security will pay to rent nearby homes or domiciles to set up security and continue to monitor the first and second families.
Should these negotiations go through, taxpayers would likely be paying the president-elect’s corporation to lease the two floors. The Post reported that a lease deal could cost more than $3 million based on current rates at Trump Tower. Two of the floors, which are 3,000- to 5,000-square-foot spaces, are currently marketed at $105 per square-foot
Let’s look at what $3 “other” million dollars could satisfy…
School Supplies
According to the data, 48 out of 115 LEAs or 42 percent of all LEAs spend between $125,000 – $150,000 to educate a high school graduate. Or the minimum #3MillionDollars worth of school supplies for Inner City Schools could have been bought considering according to the New York Times, “It is hard to find anyone more passionate about the idea of steering public dollars away from traditional public schools than Betsy DeVos, Donald J. Trump’s pick as the cabinet secretary overseeing the nation’s education system.”New Door Locks

According to The Slot, “After trying—and failing—to disenfranchise black voters on election day with strict voter identification requirements, Republican North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory is now refusing to concede to Democratic challenger Roy Cooper, who is ahead in the count by a small but significant (and growing) margin of 6,600 votes.”

If all else fails, #3MillionDollars could purchase a whole of combination door locks from The Home Depot for $99 plus $12.00 Protection Plan for the next election.

Happy Thanksgiving – Plymouth Rock Landed in North Dakota!
Trump will try to fast-track fossil fuel projects across the country. That makes the final months of President Obama’s term more important than ever.Donald Trump’s surprise election win has encouraged Energy Transfer Partners’s Kelcy Warren, the CEO of the parent company of Dakota Access LLC, which is building the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). In an interview with CBS This Morning, Warren said he is “100 percent” confident that the president-elect will help the company finish the project. Kelcy Warren also said, “We are committed to completing construction and safely operating the Dakota Access Pipeline within the confines of the law, according to Valley News.”
There are approximately 30,000 American Indians living in North Dakota and American Indians make up about 5% of the current North Dakota population. North Dakota American Indian tribes span the Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, the Yanktonia, Sisseton, Wahpeton, Hunkpapa and other Dakotah/Lakotah (more commonly known as the Sioux) Tribes, along with the Pembina Chippewa, Cree and Metis.

The Dakota Access pipeline is a $3.7 billion project that would carry 470,000 barrels of oil a day from the oil fields of western North Dakota to Illinois, where it would be linked with other pipelines. Energy Transfer says the pipeline will pump millions of dollars into local economies and create 8,000 to 12,000 construction jobs — though far fewer permanent jobs to maintain and monitor the pipeline.

Members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe see the pipeline as a major environmental and cultural threat. Native American tribal leaders’ biennial address to the North Dakota Legislature will not happen in 2017, a committee said Thursday in deciding to forgo formal events at the state Capitol due to security reasons involving the Dakota Access pipeline protests.
The 10-3 vote by the North Dakota Legislative Management Committee means there’ll be no presentations from the state’s chief justice or tribal leaders when lawmakers reconvene Jan. 3. The measure exempts the governor’s State of the State address, which is required by state law.
BISMARCK, N.D. — President Obama says the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is looking into whether the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline can be rerouted. The president told online news outlet “Now This,” the engineers are examining whether it can be built in southern North Dakota to ease concerns of American Indians.
FYI: The United States has a web of 2.5 million miles of pipelines that carry products like oil and natural gas, pumping them to processing and treatment plants, power plants, homes and businesses. Most of the lines are buried, but some run above ground.

Closing Schools In Hartford’s North End Would Violate Civil Rights

I read this article today and was not surprised by the alleged decisions; I was no longer emotionally hurt by a lack of parental involvement – face it if the parents made their voice heard this conversation between those that have the power and those that have the power would go in an entirely different direction.
The Greater Hartford branch of the NAACP is calling on city leaders to reject proposals that would close North End schools, saying the plans violate the civil rights of black and Latino students in the city.
Back in 1955 the Montgomery Bus Boycott was a protest against segregated public facilities in Alabama, was led by Martin Luther King Jr. and lasted for 381 days. 60 years later are we still talking about the civil rights of our children’s education?! Furthermore, Hispanics or Latinos are not a race but an ethnic identification, like Italian American, Irish American, Greek American, German American. Have you ever asked why the distinction?!
“We are deeply concerned and disturbed by the actions of the Hartford Board of Education, for systematically divesting in schools located in the north-end; leaving our students and families ill-equipped to compete educationally,” Ansari wrote.

When a picture is worth a 1000 High School Degrees… In a written response to Ansari’s letter, Hartford Board of Education Chairman Richard Wareing wrote that the proposals are merely the suggestions of a consultant and do not represent any decision-making by the board.
In an article written on April 28, 2015, the Hartford Current posted this statement: HARTFORD — A 3-mile swath of North Hartford has been named a Federal Promise Zone, a designation that local leaders hope will spark an infusion of manpower and money to one of the capital city’s neediest areas. The Federal Government provided grant money (aka Promise Zone) to the tune of $2,000,000 eligible applicants must be State, local, or tribal government entity, represented by a Chief Executive, such as a governor, mayor, or other elected leader, or the head of a State, local, or tribal agency.

The area with the highest rate of incarcerated persons is the North East District. “We are deeply concerned and disturbed by the actions of the Hartford Board of Education, for systematically divesting in schools located in the north-end; leaving our students and families ill-equipped to compete educationally,” Ansari wrote.
Where are the parents, who let the school system get to this state, what agency is angry with what organization for not sharing in the wealth of our failing school system?
