The Most Expensive Item Ever Purchased

Spread the love

Shopping is a popular activity enjoyed by many women around the world. Whether it’s for clothing, accessories, cosmetics, or home goods, shopping provides an opportunity for self-expression, creativity, and a chance to explore new trends. For women who love shopping, it’s often a way to relax, socialize, and find joy in discovering new items. Regarding self-expression, I prefer to get the best for less, which means I don’t follow trends. Personally, I really like the outfits worn by Barbara Streisand in some of her older movies.

It’s important to note that while shopping can be enjoyable and empowering, it’s also important to make mindful and responsible choices. Being aware of sustainable and ethical practices in the fashion industry, supporting local businesses, and making purchases that align with personal values are all ways in which women who love shopping can continue to enjoy their passion while being conscious consumers. That sounds good on in writing, however, supporting local businesses often leads to following the latest trends. An old friend said to me I dress like an old woman, but that’s not true – I dress my age, it’s not what I wear when he needs the [level-headed- no nonsense] support and suggestions – which is exactly what my choice in clothing depicts, not a 30 year old.

Oops, I got way off topic, so the most expensive item – my first thought was a pair of wedding shoes – $400

I guess prices have gone up since 2001 – $825

Then I thought about my Salvator Ferragamo – Sling Back

The price hasn’t changed on this too much $588

Ahh but alas, it wasn’t the shoes, I’m thinking perhaps it was my #SheRide – at 16 years old my dad gave me my first #SheRide, my second and ex gave me my third, and I purchased my 4th all by myself. It provides me a way to get from point A to point B. As I drive I have fond memories of my dad. My friend who said I dress like an old woman purchased the Cadillac truck – he drives like an old man…

    1. Yes, it can provide a release of endorphins – however – we must aware that when the rush is over the credit card bill will either gently remind us [good job] or we may be looking for a 2nd job…
