There are a few things I think everyone should know, but some are more important than others. The list below is not in order of importance, just a list as I think of them, here goes…
Health
Take your finger and rub it behind your ear, if it smells then you forgot to clean that area. A good test for children.
Pastors
If they are still passing the plate for tithing and/or preaching on wealth and prosperity – they may not have been called to preach – they called the realtor to find a place to be a speaker.
Democracy
If we really lived in a democracy – the person with the most votes would win – there would be no need for fund-raising. A true democracy is a system of government in which the power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or through freely elected representatives. In a true direct democracy, all laws, bills, and even court decisions are voted on by all citizens.
However, as we have seen recently there are different types of democracies such as:
A. representative democracy – citizens elect a representative to make decisions on their behalf;
B. constitutional democracy – the powers of the government are limited by a constitution;
C. The phrase “separation of church and state” appears nowhere in the Constitution, and the Founding Fathers saw nothing wrong with having religion in American culture.
