Did Your Townhall Meetings Stop – Personalize Your Message to Influence Legislators

A president has no business promoting a failing company, especially when the fallout is so visible—Tesla showrooms and charging stations being vandalized, and even privately owned Teslas targeted. Yet, here we are, with press invited to admire a car he doesn’t even drive, while he jets around on Epstein’s plane. The audacity is staggering.

But let’s not pretend this is new. This pattern of self-aggrandizement and destructive ambition has played out time and again. From Satan’s rebellion against God to Hitler’s horrifying quest for a “pure” race, history is littered with examples of individuals and groups who sought to elevate themselves above all others. Secret societies, like the one rumored to have shaped Thatcher’s rise, the Southern Army’s creation of the Punch Bowl, and the oppressive system of Apartheid—all of them built on the same toxic foundation of “I’m better, smarter, richer than you.”

Tips For Reaching Out – Or Go Straight to the List

And where are they now? These self-proclaimed superior organizations, including the KKK, have crumbled under their own contradictions. Remember the white woman brutaly assaulted in garage apartment by a fellow KKK member – she died a day or two later not before identifying her attacker by name? That act of betrayal exposed the rot within, proving that hate and arrogance are unsustainable.

History keeps teaching us this lesson, yet some refuse to learn.

Reaching out to your elected officials through emails, letters, or phone calls is an effective way to share your thoughts and concerns. Below are some helpful tips for engaging with them. While most communication legislators receive comes from their constituents, there are no restrictions on contacting other lawmakers, particularly those in influential roles. This includes the Speaker of the House, Minority Leaders, committee chairs or ranking members, and committee members working on the issue you wish to address. Anyone can express their views to these officials.

Write with Originality: Craft your own unique message. While pre-written letters or postcards can serve as templates, a personalized and thoughtful letter carries far more weight. Use any template as a starting point, but make sure your words reflect your own perspective and tone.

Keep it Short: Limit your letter or email to a single page. Legislative aides often review and summarize correspondence for the elected official, so concise messages are more effective and likely to be read in their entirety.

Be Clear About Your Identity and Purpose: In your opening paragraph, identify yourself as a constituent and explain the reason for your message. If you’re not a constituent, briefly clarify why you are reaching out, such as their role on a specific committee. Be sure to mention the bill name or number early in your message to provide context, for example, “I am

Engaging with your elected officials through emails, letters, or phone calls is a powerful way to share your concerns and opinions. While the majority of communication received by legislators comes from their direct constituents, there are no rules against contacting other lawmakers, especially those in influential positions. This includes individuals such as the Speaker of the House, Minority Leaders, committee chairs or ranking members, and any committee members addressing the issue you care about. Regardless of constituency, anyone has the right to express their views to these officials.

Personalize Your Message- If the legislation you are writing about will affect you personally, tell the legislator about it. Write a brief personal story about what the legislation will/will not do for you and/or your community. The more you can personalize your relationship with the legislator, the stronger your letter/email will be. If you voted for the legislator, worked on his/her campaign, or donated money to the legislator or their party, say so. If you ever met the legislator, briefly mention this in your message. If possible, attend town halls, virtual or in-person, and other public events your legislator holds.

Three Points- In keeping your correspondence short, consider making no more than three main points. Flush out your three strongest points and stick with them.
Be Respectful- The easiest way to not have your message read is to be disrespectful. “Dear Idiot” will probably stop the reader from going further, however taking a firm position on an issue is fine. Do not use profanity. Even if your legislator is not the person you voted for, remember to be respectful.

Include Your Address in Your Signature, Even in Email- Legislators are busy people and you should never demand a response. However some legislators will take the time to write back, but they cannot if you do not include your address. Including your address also affirms the fact that you are a constituent.

Proper Address- Below are the ways to address your letters/messages:
    Dear President:
    Dear Vice President:
    Dear Senator (Name):
    Dear Representative (Name):

Follow up- After you have contacted the elected official, follow up on what they did. If they voted the way you wanted, consider writing a short thank you note, affirming how outcome will affect you. If your legislator did not vote the way you wanted, consider contacting them and respectfully express your disappointment, and maybe include brief point on how it will affect you. In any follow-up letter/email, mention the fact that you wrote them before the vote was taken.

When contacting by phone, be brief and respectful- In 99% of calls to Congress, you will be talking to a legislator’s staff member who is not involved in the changes in law, programs, or your personal issue(s). Keep that in mind if you get through- if you maske him/her angry she/he has the power to ensure your calls go to voice mail and your emails stay in the [Junk} folder. If you get through take notes, or. record the call [when on a call and emotions are high we may forget, not hear or understand clearly and of course having receipts – […I’m sure I heard…you have proof]. Most of all tyry to be cordial and courteous in all conversations.

Squatters in Florida & Romance Scams

What is a Squatter and the History

Squatters, also known as occupiers, have a long history in the United States. Let’s delve into their origins and the laws surrounding their actions: Desantis needs to wake up and stop copying other’s work, getting in other states’ affairs, and clean up his mess with the books and I still can’t believe that he had no understanding of the #ReedyCreek document. Anytime you read a document that has the word #Covenant in it – get a dictionary, calendar, and a calculator, because you can bet your bottom dollar it is a way to circumvent perpetuity – Disney’s state “…until 20 years after the last born of King James…” Sounds like either never or just after the 1000 years are up.

    Historical Origins

DeSantis Hints At Major Action Against Squatters
    Historical Origins
    • Colonial Settlers: Squatting began during the colonial period when European settlers established land rights. These settlers moved onto unclaimed land, sometimes engaging in conflict with Native Americans, and built homes and cultivated the land.
    • California Gold Rush: During the California Gold Rush, squatters flocked to the region seeking fortune. They occupied land without formal ownership, leading to disputes and legal challenges.
    • Great Depression and World War II: Squatting persisted during the Great Depression in shanty towns known as Hoovervilles. It also occurred during World War II due to housing shortages.

    Legal Context:

    • Adverse Possession: In some cases, squatters may gain ownership of property through a legal concept called adverse possession. If someone occupies land openly, continuously, and without permission for a specified period (usually several years), they may acquire legal rights to that property.
    • Homesteading: The Homestead Act of 1862 supported pioneers who moved onto unclaimed land, built homes, and cultivated it. This act granted certain rights to settlers, allowing them to claim ownership under specific conditions.
DeSantis is Slow on the RolE HE EITHER COPIES OTHERS WORK OR IS ANOTHER STATE WHILE FLORIDIANS ARE IN HARMS WAY.

Florida has faced challenges related to squatters, particularly in cities like Fort Lauderdale. These individuals, often referred to as “pirates,” take over abandoned boats and homes without proper authorization or documentation. However, recent legislative efforts aim to address this issue:

    Legislation to Combat Squatting:

    • Florida lawmakers (Not DeSantis – he literally just mentioned it today? have unanimously passed a bill to combat squatting. This legislation aims to close loopholes that allowed people to live rent-free in homes while property owners were unable to access their own premises.
    • The bill allows law enforcement to immediately remove squatters who do not have a lease authorized by the property owner
    • It also adds criminal penalties, including designating intentionally presenting a fraudulent lease as a misdemeanor and making it a felony to intentionally sell or lease someone else’s property or intentionally cause more than $1,000 in property damage while squatting or trespassing.

    Other States

In summary, squatters have played a significant role throughout American history, from colonial times to modern movements advocating for housing justice.

Now, let’s explore the current laws regarding squatters in different states:

    • Alabama: Squatters may claim ownership after living on a property for 10 years or for general possession of at least 20 years
    • Alaska: Squatters with uninterrupted possession for 7 years (with color of title) or 10 years (if they’ve paid property taxes) can claim adverse possession.
    • Arizona: Squatters can claim adverse possession after 3 years of possession or 10 years of uninterrupted possession.
    • New York: Squatters have rights after 30 days. Property owners must go through the court system to remove them.

Remember that squatter rights vary by state, and it’s essential to understand local laws if you encounter squatters on your property.

  • It’s Not About The Hair

Tabitha Bartoe worked at WATE, an ABC station in Knoxville.

Ultimately, Bartoe said the station’s news manager told her, “Your style isn’t aligning with the company and the company policy, so your time is done here,” according to the Sentinel. She was fired within 90 days of beginning her job, she said.

Imani Jackson spent 45 minutes every day putting a cap over her naturally curly hair and gluing a wig with straight hair in its place, according to federal court documents.

One day, she stopped. Instead of the wig, Jackson — who is Black — began wearing her natural hair in a “neat bun,” attorneys said. Within a month, she was fired. Now the federal agency tasked with safeguarding and enforcing anti-discrimination laws in the workplace is, saying the action was racially motivated.

Forced Delivery vs. #Abortion – AfterCare Must Be Considered

With the overturn of by the U.S. Supreme Court in June 2022, abortion policies and reproductive rights are in the hands of each state. Most states repealed abortion bans in effect as of 1973 once Roe made them unenforceable. However, some states and territories never repealed their pre-Roe abortion bans.

What is the definition of abortion; bring to a premature end because of a problem or fault:

Restrictive abortion regulation can cause distress and stigma, and risk constituting a violation of human rights of women and girls, including the right to privacy and the right to non-discrimination and equality, while also imposing financial burdens on women and girls. Regulations that force women to travel to attain legal care, or require mandatory counseling or waiting periods, lead to loss of income and other financial costs, and can make abortion inaccessible to women with low resources.

    During the SOTU Biden stated:

Folks, you all know 12 years is not enough to win the economic competition for the 21st Century.

If you want America to have the best-educated workforce, let’s finish the job by providing access to pre-school for 3- and 4-year-olds.

And we’re making progress by reducing student debt and increasing Pell Grants for working- and middle-class families.

Let’s finish the job, connect students to career opportunities starting in high school and provide two years of community college, some of the best career training in America, in addition to being a pathway to a four-year degree.

Let’s offer every American the path to a good career whether they go to college or not.

The insanity of uneducated folk making decisions about human beings when they can’t understand why a wolf is and is not considered an endangered species. GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert’s bill to delist the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act faced its first subcommittee hearing Thursday. But before she talked about her bill, Boebert started with an aside, showing photos of human babies she said was born in Washington, D.C., with what looked like birth defects. Boebert, a staunch anti-abortion supporter, then asked if her Democratic colleagues would want to put babies on the Endangered Species Act.

  • Rape Victim’s Baby May Hold the Keys to the Cure for Cancer

    #Abortion – 13 Years Old – #Ohio

#JeanSchmidt – State Representative Jean Schmidt is currently serving her first term as State Representative for the 65th #Ohio house district, which includes northwestern Clermont County, specifically parts of #Loveland and Milford, all of #Newtonsville and #Owensville and #Goshen, Miami, #Stonelick, Union and Wayne townships.

She said pregnancy from rape is actually a chance for a woman to raise a child, send them to live with a family member or put them up for adoption. That hypothetical child, she argued, could someday cure cancer. “Rape is a difficult issue and it emotionally scars the individual, all or in part, for the rest of their life ― just as child abuse does. But if a baby is created, it is a human life and whether that mother ends that pregnancy or not the scars will not go away period,” said Schmidt.

Read more: Rape Victim’s Baby May Hold the Keys to the Cure for Cancer

“It is a shame that it happens, but there’s an opportunity for that woman – no matter how young or old she is ― to make a determination about what she’s going to do to help that life be a productive human being. … That child can grow up and be something magnificent,

I wonder what hallway of hell she came from let’s look at a few scenarios:

    1. An 13-year-old can’t vote, drive, serve in the armed forces, buy liquor or a gun they can’t understand the long-term risks and consequences of making adult-size decisions for another life – they freak out when the wifi isn’t working.

    2. She comes from a wealthy family whose income is NOT below the poverty guidelines she’s not eligible for Medicaid – so her parents are financially responsible for the medical/dental/ and mental health care of the infant;

    3. She is raped by her father – now the mother is impacted exponentially just like her baby girl who is forced to carry her father’s child from a rape;

    4. Jean actually thinks other family members are willing adopt the rapist’s baby – now the little girl has a walking breathing reminder of the physical and mental torture she endured perhaps endured OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again because it was Uncle Charles who visited ever other week to babysit for mom dad on date night;

5.In Maryland if the woman decides to give up the baby conceived by rape – she needs to get permission from the #rapist to put the baby up for adoption:

    6. The rapist goes to jail, serves his time, get’s out and now he wants either visitation or co-parenting rights!

Men whose brothers or fathers have been convicted of a sex offense are “five times more likely to commit sex crimes than the average male” and that this increased risk of committing rape or molesting a child “may run in a family’s male genes.” A study, published online in the International Journal of Epidemiology, analyzed data from 21,566 male sex offenders convicted in Sweden between 1973 and 2009 and concluded that genetics may account for roughly 40% of the likelihood of committing a sex crime.

Rape is the forcible violation of the sexual intimacy of another person. It does injury to justice and charity. Rape deeply wounds the respect, freedom, and physical and moral integrity to which every person has a right. It causes grave damage that can mark the victim for life. It is always an intrinsically evil act. Graver still is the rape of children committed by parents (incest) or those responsible for the education of the children entrusted to them.

I can’t stop asking myself what personal experience has Jean Schmidt NOT healed from that would cause her to have such hellish beliefs about a little girl being raped.

    Building Relationships

Building relationships with difficult students is foundational in getting them to respond positively. Children tend to know when teachers have a vested interest in them. This knowledge helps to develop trust in their teachers’ desire to make decisions that will benefit them as individuals. The trust allows corrections to be made concerning student behavior without the probability of an escalated debate. Students can receive correction when they are certain that the person who is correcting them has spent time getting to know them and understands and respects their needs.

    Removal

While removing behavior problems from the learning environment puts a band-aid on the problem it does little in terms of a long-term fix. Therefore, we must equip teachers with tools for working with a difficult student.

I see the removal of students from the learning environment all to often; either they are sent to the office with school security (not the police). Note: the behavior is NOT addressed, the student spends an hour or all day performing administrative tasks for the office staff – the student has now missed and entire class or an entire day of instruction paid for by the taxes of the parent. A parent who may or may not attend [Parent Teacher Association]

PTA meetings are an opportunity for the parents to discuss their child’s academic performance with the teachers. You should know about your child’s strongest and weakest subjects, what are the proofs of his strengths and weaknesses in those subjects, and how improvements can be made in any particular area of concern.

Teach Appropriate Behavior and/or Behavior Modification

As important as it is to teach state academic learning standards, it is equally important to teach appropriate behaviors. One of the biggest mistakes I have seen educators make is assuming that students will enter our classrooms knowing which behaviors are appropriate and inappropriate. We must adopt the philosophy that appropriate classroom behavior must be taught if we hope to effect positive change in the actions of our students.

Behavior modification is a means of changing behavior through various techniques used to replace undesirable behaviors with desirable ones. Behavior modification techniques have been used to treat both adults and children

    • Positive reinforcement is using a reward for positive behavior to make sure the child continues with the desired behavior. It is the most effective method of shaping behavior because it is the most pleasant. For example, praise and reward are both used in positive reinforcement.
    • Negative reinforcement is taking something unpleasant away to reinforce good behavior. You are not actually doing anything negative. For example, your child may choose to do their homework without being reminder to avoid nagging.

Did we not have problems with children decades ago or have we as teachers lost the love of teaching that we no longer want to do more than the basics…

  • What’s New With Water

    What’s New With Water

Ok so here goes my first try at writing a conspiracy piece…

In 1975, Oil prices in the USA were rising every day.  The prices were so high that car sales literally dropped to zero.  The US Government was under a lot of pressure as Saudi Arabia had cut its oil supply to the United States. Many organizations went bankrupt, and the American automotive industry took a major hit.  During this time, Stanley Meyer thought of doing something new. He wanted to develop something that would revolutionize the entire Auto Industry.  He wanted to cut the dependency on oil and fossil fuels.

This is when he designed a device that could power cars with water.  The water used would split into two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen. The Hydrogen would be used to power up wheels while remaining oxygen would be released back in the atmosphere.  Everyone was impressed by Stanley Meyer’s revolutionary hydrogen car. They all approved Meyer’s work which turned water into hydrogen fuel with electrolysis.  Meyer claimed that his hydrogen car would use only 22 gallons (83 liters) of water to travel from Los Angeles to New York.

On 20th March 1998, Meyer had a meeting with two Belgian investors. The meeting was held at a Cracker Barrel restaurant where Stanley’s brother Stephen was also present.  At the dinner table, they all had a toast after which Stanley ran outside holding his throat. He told his brother that he had been poisoned.  Stanley took a sip of cranberry juice. Then he grabbed his neck, bolted out the door, dropped to his knees and vomited violently.  There was an investigation which lasted for three months. Later, the Grove City Police went with the Franklin County coroner report that Stanley Meyer died of a cerebral aneurysm.

A fuel forecast from GasBuddy in 2021 predicted gasoline prices would potentially jump as high as $4.13 per gallon, though a likely bump in crude supply was expected to push prices lower by the end of 2022.  GasBuddy’s 2022 Gasoline Forecast (pdf), released Dec. 29, predicted that the national retail gasoline price would average $3.41 per gallon for all of 2022—assuming no significant interruptions to the ongoing economic recovery.  This recent spike is not a product of President Biden or Trump. It is the culmination of many issues, with Russia’s aggression at the top of the list.  Do you remember the rules of economics – supply and demand?  The amount of a commodity, product, or service available and the desire of buyers for it, considered as factors regulating it price – well that’s not the answer either.  Oil companies are reluctant to produce more oil because if they overproduce, they’ll see the profits drop.  This began in 2015 before the pandemic and got worse during the pandemic.

So, what is pushing oil and gas prices up? Mainly it’s an effort by oil firms in the United States and elsewhere to resist overproducing, which has torpedoed profits many times in the past and, here in the U.S., caused billions of dollars in losses for oil producers and their investors. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the resulting sanctions have limited oil supplies from Russia, the world’s third-largest producer, accounting for a 20% price spike since Russia invaded on Feb. 24. But supply was tightening, and oil prices were rising before then, as drillers worldwide adapted to a world weaning itself off fossil fuels. Since oil accounts for more than half the cost of gasoline, gas prices rise and fall in tandem with oil prices.

Meanwhile – present day – one Saturday afternoon, a white gunman in body armor killed 10 Black shoppers and workers at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Another Black person and two white people were wounded. Federal officials are investigating the shooting as a hate crime; a state-level murder case is already underway.  The gunman opened fire at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday outside Tops Friendly Market, a supermarket in a predominantly Black neighborhood in the western New York city.  The gunman began shooting in the parking lot. Inside, he exchanged gunfire with a security guard, who was killed, as he stalked through the aisles shooting shoppers.

Fifteen people accepted avowed white supremacist Payton Gendron’s invitation to a private chatroom — chillingly named “Happening: This is not a drill” — where he allegedly spent months meticulously planning his attack in Buffalo that killed 10 people.  The 18-year-old invited people on the Discord app 30 minutes before the massacre, CNN reported.  The chatroom included months of posts written by an author who identified himself as Gendron, describing his twisted views and outlining how he’d scouted the Tops Friendly Markets in a crazed plan to kill as many black people as possible.

Aaron Salter Jr., a security guard at the Tops Friendly Markets store in Buffalo who was killed in the recent mass shooting, had reportedly just patented a new type of vehicle engine that runs on water instead of gasoline.

Describing his invention as a “newly discovered energy source,” Salter, just prior to his death, had been working on and speaking publicly about environmentally sustainable vehicles that have the potential to replace existing ones that rely on either internal combustion (gas) or battery-powered (electric) engines.

Salter’s LinkedIn profile reveals that one of his main passions in life was coming up with a free energy transportation solution. In a YouTube video, he demonstrated how his 2010 Ford F-150 truck operated using an AWS Hydrogen Fuel System, which is based on water.
